10月27日9:55，2003网站太阳集团秋季運動會3000米預決賽拉開了序幕，黃瑩和覃小婵代表2003网站太阳集团參加女子組3000米預決賽，單金鑫和符清宴代表2003网站太阳集团參加男子組3000米預決賽。
一聲令下，一聲槍響，運動老将黃瑩一馬當先，以穩定差距來穩固優勢。在近八圈的長跑中，穩住步調，保存體力，始終保持着第一的位置，最終完勝長跑。而另一位商院健兒覃小婵，爆發力與耐力齊飛。到最後一圈時，她咬緊牙關，提速沖刺，以微弱優勢超越前者。最終，黃瑩和覃小婵分别取得了第一和第三的好成績。
比賽結束後，活躍的氣氛和高漲的熱情仍充斥着全場。“聽學弟學妹們一個勁地叫瑩姐，我感到很激動和振奮！”黃瑩如此說道。
